About Us.
Spreading light through abolitionist storytelling & pleasure activism to shape a brighter future.
MISSION
BLKMKT Innovations sparks liberation through psychedelics, abolitionism, socialism, Afro-futuristic art, science, advocacy, & connection. Our first decade of grassroots organizing & pleasure activism has centered uniting & educating the community through policy panels, underground house shows, and festivals.

As a queer, trans, disabled, neurodivergent, Afro-Indigenous led organization, we recognize that too often the innovative and questioning are shoved aside. It’s our duty to give them a voice and shed light on their stories. Individuals and communities share a problem: they have a story to share but lack access to the platform they need to be heard. As an advocacy campaign, we seek to equip every storyteller with the support and resources needed to share their truth with the world. Your voice of the community and injustices in the political environment will be framed with our powers of growth and empowerment. Together, the stories of the marginalized will be mobilized.
“Without community, there is no liberation.”
― Audre Lorde
COLLABORATIVE ART ADVOCACY
Our goal is to foster a community of liberation. We partner with members of the community to tell their story with the goal of universal freedom. This could be from small business owners positively impacting their community by filling a need, organizations serving their community to individuals exercising self-expression and tackling social issues. We instill hope through interactive media. Diverse groups unify live and virtually through educational events and media. Our community offers support and production resources to help aspiring artists from marginalized communities to excel at their talent.

MOVEMENT LAWYERING & GRASSROOTS CAMPAIGNS
Our multimedia storytelling and communications are often the first time community members engage with our work. These powerful tools of self-expression in the heart of a silencing machine are our strongest weapons in educating, empowering, & mobilizing the community. From documentaries on nation-wide systemic oppression to research papers highlighting how global colonialism impacts communities locally, our publications cover a large range of social justice and legal education. Supplemented by powerful community panels and activism parties uniting community members across levels of power and governance, BLKMKT Innovation's programing seeks to connect with individuals where they are. Peer education, harm reduction, and intersectionality are at the heart of our gatherings, coalition building, & community support.
FREE RADICALS
It can be tough for those called to fields constantly pushing the boundaries of the frontier. It’s hard to follow a path that you are the first to pave. For the pioneers and storytellers seeking assistance refining their skills, support of a team of other driven creatives and opportunity to grow their production experience, this is the family for you.
It’s time to grow your side hustle into an empire; get paid doing what you love. From art to tech, we welcome and challenge visionaries of every discipline to join our ranks and find a way to take your creative passion to new heights.
Grown from a young middle schooler first harnessing the power of band class rudiments in an electronic production elective and filming YouTube videos on a Flip camcorder, BLKMKT Media launched and began producing web series, films, live audiovisual experiences and music. We are now partnered with a digital radio station and media conglomerate comprised of a TV series, radio show and magazine. With the help of our partners, we have expanded our reach beyond our creators’ personal audiences and garner engagement from our partners’ followings as well.

Diversity is our strength, unity is our power.

DIVERSITY & INCLUSION
BLKMKT Media is not only focused on being a voice of change in our communities but also being the change we want to see in the world. We uplift members of marginalized communities in our hiring and collaboration practices, particularly progressive members of BIPOC & LGBTQIA2S+ spaces. We foster a culture of inclusion and ethical work standards. Respect amongst all staff is a must, schedules are flexible and weekly work is capped at 30 hours per staff member. BLKMKT Media has always and will always offer remote employment opportunities. Who you are, where you are and what you look like should have no bearing on your potential. All we’re concerned about is your capability to get the job done. We want to see you shine while adding your personal flair to your work.
Meet the Team.

Life can be tough. Especially when you’re a square peg trying to fit in a round hole. Child of proud army vets, fae grew up in a household that thrived on conformity. From a young age, fae found solace from faer storms by self-expression in art and the collection of knowledge. Now, fae lead a tribe of trailblazers to share these freedoms to all.
